The cover of the latest Montana Writers Guild anthology.

We hope your holiday season was better than gratifying.
Incidentally, you are invited to contact us if you have a submission
you'd like us to consider for the next anthology.

me writing

When we worked with pen and ink, idiosyncratic editing ruled the day.
Enter typewriters.   Except for editing symbols, editing remained much the same.
Now with computers editing can easily be done on-screen as one works.  There are those
who believe instant editing tends to be an unnecessary tangent.   Others maintain
that it is very difficult, when one has finished a draft, to edit on-screen;
much easier, they assert, to edit hard copy.

a real Montana writer

This is a picture of a real Montana writer.  Stands not on ceremony;
stands not on grooming.   Pisses outside.  Edits assiduously.

Coming soon to this very site, a real page.  I apologize that our house is so messy, but it is under construction.
